Kundli widget for your website: add the kundli form, PDF, rashifal and panchang

How to add a kundli widget for your website: paste one script, use WordPress shortcodes, pick Hindi, Gujarati or English, and see what Free shows.

Updated 2026-10-25

To add a kundli widget to your website, make a public widget key in your Dsixty API dashboard, list your website on it, and paste one script tag plus one small div where you want the kundli form to appear. On WordPress you can instead install the plugin and use the shortcodes [dsixty_kundli], [dsixty_rashifal] and [dsixty_panchang].

This guide is for Indian astrologers. It shows the steps in plain order: the key, the script, the shortcodes, the language, the PDF button and what the Free plan gives you. You do not need to know programming for the WordPress route. If you use another site builder, you only need to paste a few lines into a page.

What you can put on your website

A kundli widget is a ready block that sits inside your own page. Your visitor fills it in and sees the result without leaving your site. With Dsixty API you can add four things, and each one works on its own:

  • Kundli form. Visitors enter birth details and see the chart and planets. The chart can be shown in North or South Indian style. The kundli covers lagna, planets with nakshatra and pada, divisional charts up to D60, and Vimshottari and Yogini dashas.
  • PDF download. The full kundli as a PDF with your name, firm and contact on it.
  • Rashifal. Daily, weekly, monthly and yearly, for all twelve signs. Audio is available if you like.
  • Panchang. Today's tithi, nakshatra, yoga, Rahu kaal and good times.

You can use only the pieces your practice needs. A small site may want just the kundli form. A daily-reader site may want rashifal and panchang on the home page. See the full list on the Kundli and reports page.

Step 1: Make your widget key and list your website

Everything starts with a key. Log in to your dashboard, make a widget key and list your website address on it. The key works only on the domains you list. This is a good safety feature. If someone copies your script to another site, the key will not work there.

  • Create a free account if you do not have one yet. See pricing for what the Free plan includes.
  • Make a widget key. It starts with dsx_pub_.
  • Add your website domain to the key. If you use more than one domain, list each one.

This key is meant to be placed on a public page, so it is fine for it to be visible in your page source. Keep your other keys, such as test and live keys for the API, off your pages.

Step 2: Paste the script into any website

This works on any site where you can add HTML: a custom page, a page builder block or a hand-made site. You add the script once, then one div for each widget.

<script src="https://dsixtyapi.com/widget.js" data-key="dsx_pub_..." async></script> <div class="dsixty-widget" data-widget="kundli" data-lang="hi" data-pdf="on"></div> <div class="dsixty-widget" data-widget="rashifal" data-period="daily"></div>

What each part does:

  • data-key is your public widget key.
  • data-widget chooses the widget: kundli or rashifal in the example above.
  • data-lang chooses the language. hi means Hindi.
  • data-pdf="on" switches on the PDF download button in the kundli widget.
  • data-period="daily" sets the rashifal period.

The widget appears where you put the div. So put the kundli div on your "Free Kundli" page and the rashifal div on your home page or blog sidebar. The panchang widget follows the same idea. Open the widget guide under Guides for its exact line, and for the other rashifal periods and language codes.

Step 3: On WordPress, use the plugin and shortcodes

If your site runs on WordPress, you can skip the script. Install the Dsixty plugin (you can find the download link on the developers page), then put a shortcode in any page or post:

  • [dsixty_kundli] for the kundli form
  • [dsixty_rashifal] for rashifal
  • [dsixty_panchang] for today's panchang

Add each shortcode in a Shortcode block or in the classic editor, on the page where you want it. Keep your widget key and the website domain you listed ready, because the key only works on listed domains. If you try the page on a staging address, add that address too, or the widget may not load there.

If you would rather not edit anything yourself, ask your web developer to follow this page. It is a five-minute job for them.

Choosing a language: Hindi, Gujarati or English

The widgets, readings and PDFs come in three languages: Hindi, Gujarati and English. In the script method you set the language with data-lang, as in the example above where hi gives Hindi.

A practical way to choose:

  • Match the language of the page. A Hindi page should carry a Hindi widget, so the visitor does not switch languages in the middle of a form.
  • If your audience is mixed, put the widget on separate pages, one for each language, and link them from your menu.
  • Test the PDF in the same language before you announce the page. Open it and read it once as a visitor would.

The PDF download in your name

Turn on the PDF button in the kundli widget (data-pdf="on") and visitors can download their kundli. The PDF has the charts, planets, dashas and tables, with your name, firm and contact on it. It does not carry Dsixty branding on the document.

Fill in your profile and logo in the dashboard first, so the PDF looks right from the first download. A visitor who keeps your PDF on their phone keeps your phone number with it.

Each PDF costs 5 units. This matters on the Free plan, as shown below. If you need a deeper, personal report for a paying client, that is a different thing: the client report comes with a video session. See Presentation and client PDF.

What the Free plan shows

You can start without paying. The Free plan costs nothing and includes:

  • 2,500 units a month
  • Kundlis for 150 different people
  • 150 kundli PDFs
  • A speed of 10 calls a minute

Two things to know. First, on the Free plan the widgets carry a small "Powered by Dsixty" line. Every paid plan shows only your brand. Second, when the Free plan's units are used, it stops at the limit. It does not charge you.

Units are used by every call, even for the same person again. As a guide: the kundli widget uses 2 units, a kundli PDF 5, panchang 1, and rashifal for all twelve signs 3. So 150 PDFs alone use 750 of your 2,500 units. Keep this in mind if you put the widgets on a busy page.

Paid plans start at ₹7,999 a month for 25,000 units, plus GST. Compare them on the pricing page.

Before you go live: a short checklist

  • Your domain is listed on the widget key, with and without any prefix you use for your site.
  • The language matches the page.
  • You made one test kundli with your own birth details and compared it with the software you trust. Planet positions use the Lahiri ayanamsa and classical Parashari rules. Still, every astrologer has preferences, so check that they suit you.
  • You downloaded the PDF and checked your name, firm and contact.
  • You opened the page on a phone. Most visitors will.
  • You added a line on the page that astrology is guidance, not a promise.

Questions

Can I add a kundli widget to my website without a developer?

Yes. Make a widget key in the dashboard, list your website, and paste the script and div into your page. On WordPress, install the plugin and use the shortcode [dsixty_kundli]. If your site builder does not allow scripts, ask your developer for help with that one step.

Can visitors download their kundli as a PDF?

Yes. Switch on the PDF button in the kundli widget. The PDF has the charts, planets, dashas and tables, with your name and contact on it. Each PDF uses 5 units.

Is the kundli widget free?

You can start free. The Free plan includes 2,500 units a month, kundlis for 150 different people and 150 kundli PDFs. The widgets show a small "Powered by Dsixty" line on this plan. Paid plans show only your brand and start at ₹7,999 a month plus GST.

Which languages does the widget support?

Hindi, Gujarati and English, for the widgets, readings and PDFs. You choose the language in the widget setting, for example data-lang="hi" for Hindi.

What does the WordPress plugin add?

Three shortcodes: [dsixty_kundli] for the kundli form, [dsixty_rashifal] for rashifal and [dsixty_panchang] for panchang. Put them in any page or post. Get the plugin from the developers page.

Will the widget work on any domain?

No, and that is on purpose. The public widget key works only on the websites you list in the dashboard. Add each domain you use, including any test address.
